Lies Wouters-Soomers

Lies Wouters-Soomers is an organisational psychologist, trainer, coach and author of “Lead Your Team Toward a Better World.” She supports organisations in strengthening professional development and building healthy, high-performing workplaces.

For many years, Lies has been researching psychological safety as the foundation for optimal functioning, positive leadership and sustainable organisational growth. She works with both leaders and individuals, guiding them in conducting meaningful and sometimes difficult conversations – whether about performance, behaviour, or expressing personal needs to thrive at work.

Her approach is grounded in both science and real-world experience. With a background as a commercial manager combined with her expertise in organisational psychology, Lies listens carefully to understand each unique situation. From there, she designs tailored proposals that help individuals and teams grow.

Her work includes one-on-one (leadership) coaching, leadership development programs such as empathic leadership, leading across distance, and navigating turbulent times, as well as interactive team workshops. These range from feedback training and team building to experiential formats like psychological safety games and the board game “Move Towards Your Goal.” She delivers her programs face-to-face, online and in hybrid settings.
